The following are articles and information on Early Streamer Emission Devices. The general consensus of the scientific community are that these devices are not more effective than the Franklin rod type of air terminals for lightning protection of structures. A court injunction was issued in October 2005 that enjoined Heary Bros. Lightning Protection from making claims that these devices were more effective than Franklin type lightning rods.
